Custom Joggers and Sweatpants Manufacturer

Nevear makes custom joggers and sweatpants for clothing brands, gyms, teams and events, from a first run of 50 pieces per style to bulk orders of around 50,000 pieces in a single shipment.

Joggers look simple, but the fabric weight, waistband and hem decide how they wear and sell. Here is what to specify.

Fabrics and weights

Common jogger fabrics and typical weights. The exact fabric is confirmed at sampling.
FabricTypical weightLook and feel
Brushed-back fleeceAbout 280–400 GSMSoft and warm: the classic sweatpant
French terry (loopback)About 240–350 GSMSmooth outside, looped inside; lighter and cooler than fleece
Heavyweight fleece or terryAbout 400–500 GSMStructured, premium streetwear feel
Woven stretch nylon or polyesterLightQuick-drying tech and training joggers
Poly tricotMediumSmooth with a slight sheen; sporty track pants

Cotton-rich blends, such as 80% cotton and 20% polyester, feel soft and take prints well; more polyester holds its shape and shrinks less. Ask whether the fabric is pre-shrunk, especially for 100% cotton. Our fabric guide compares the options.

Details to decide

  • Waistband: covered elastic with a flat or round drawcord, metal or silicone cord tips, and eyelets.
  • Hem: rib cuffs, elastic cuffs, open hems or ankle zips.
  • Pockets: side seam, zip, back or cargo pockets.
  • Fit: rise, leg shape and inseam, set out in your size chart.
  • Gusset: an optional crotch gusset for movement in training joggers.
  • Matching: the same fabric and dye lot as your hoodies if you sell them as a set.

Printing and branding on sweatpants

  • Embroidery on the thigh or hip.
  • Screen printing down the leg or across the seat.
  • [Puff print](/blogs/what-is-puff-print/) for a raised, 3D logo.
  • DTG for detailed or full-colour artwork in small runs.
  • Patches, woven labels and custom drawcord tips.
  • Garment dyeing after sewing for a washed, lived-in look.

For printing your own designs in small runs, see screen printing vs DTG to choose the method that suits your quantity.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for custom joggers?

Typically 50 pieces per style. The exact minimum depends on the fabric and production process, and is confirmed in your quote.

Fleece or French terry?

Fleece is brushed inside, so it is softer and warmer. French terry has loops inside, so it is lighter and cooler, which suits spring and summer ranges.

Can you print on sweatpants?

Yes. Screen printing, puff print, DTG and embroidery all work on sweatpants. The best method depends on the artwork, the fabric and the quantity.

Can I get joggers to match my hoodies?

Yes. Cut both from the same fabric and dye lot so the colours match; each counts as its own style for the minimum.

How long does a sample take?

Samples typically take 2–3 weeks, and the sample cost is stated in your quote. Once you approve the sample, bulk orders are usually delivered 3–4 weeks from the order date, including shipping.
